Intelerad and Radiology Business Journal Invite Radiologists to Shape the Future of Medical Imaging

Company News - Intelerad Medical Systems

Intelerad Medical Systems and Radiology Business Journal helps radiology practices position themselves in the rapidly changing environment.

Initiated by Intelerad Medical Systems, a key player in the medical imaging market for more than 10 years, the survey aims at helping radiology practices position themselves in the rapidly changing environment.

"The economy, consolidation in the industry, technology advances, and questions around healthcare reform have put unprecedented pressure on radiology groups", says Randall Oka, President and CEO of Intelerad. "Many of our customers are forced to question how the practice of radiology is evolving, so we wanted to encourage the industry to reflect on the challenges and potential avenues for the future."

Intelerad and Radiology Business Journal are collaborating to offer radiologists a chance to share their challenges with their peers and to benefit from a broader perspective on their profession and business development alternatives in return.

"We welcome this opportunity to partner with Intelerad to establish some benchmarks in radiology practice," says Curtis Kauffman-Pickelle, publisher, Radiology Business Journal, a bimonthly journal for leaders in medical imaging, published by ImagingBiz, Tustin, CA. "Imaging informatics is an increasingly important tool for practices that wish to remain competitive in the radiology marketplace."
