Intelerad Medical Systems InteleOne solution will enhance patient care by handling RIC’s growing workload, ensuring seamless distribution of studies to sub-specialists across the enterprise.

Intelerad Medical Systems , an industry-leading PACS solution vendor, has announced the signing of its most recent InteleOne contract with Radiology Imaging Consultants, SC (RIC) of Harvey, Illinois. The large radiology practice chose the InteleOne universal workflow solution for its scalability and distributed architecture which addresses RIC’s demanding workload requirements.

InteleOne consolidates image and patient data from disparate PACS and RIS systems into a streamlined, unified workflow solution. Radiology Imaging Consultants, SC, a large radiology practice of 75 radiologists, chose InteleOne because of its requirements for a robust solution and a scalable IT infrastructure that will work efficiently in a widely distributed architecture.

Another priority was to facilitate the ability to rapidly grow the practice and reduce its dependence on full-time radiologists. InteleOne will help RIC meet the requirements of clinical readings for teleradiology services and ensure timely access for interventional radiologists who read on site.
