Karos Health announces that once again, Rialto, our platform for clinical information exchange, has successfully passed all interoperability tests at the 11th annual Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) North American Connectathon 2010.
The IHE Connectathon is the healthcare IT industry’s largest interoperability testing event. This year in North America over 104 vendors and organizations tested the interoperability of 150 healthcare IT systems, setting a new participation record.
Rialto for Diagnostic Imaging, a ready-made solution built on the Rialto clinical exchange platform, further demonstrated its industry leadership by successfully passing all tests for Twenty Six (26) IHE Integration Profile/Actor combinations and Eighteen (18) Health Information Technology Standard Panel (HITSP) Constructs.
Karos Health also validated several new IHE Integration Profiles for the first time this year including IHE Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing for Imaging (XDS-I.b)) both as Imaging Document Source and Imaging Document Consumer. In addition, numerous IHE Integration Profiles as Content Consumer and Document Consumer actors were successfully completed.
Karos’ Rialto supports all Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing (XDS) integration profiles, including XDS.a and XDS.b, XDS for Imaging (XDS-I.b), Patient Identifier Cross Referencing for MPI (PIX/PIXV3), Patient Demographic Query (PDQ/PDQV3), Cross-Enterprise User Assertion (XUA), Audit Trail and Node Authentication (ATNA), Basic Patient Privacy Consent (BPPC), and many XDS Content/Document Consumer profiles.
