Karos Health' Rialto Vault optimized to manage the massive volume of patient information and medical images generated within healthcare facilities

Karos Health introduced Rialto Vault. Rialto Vault, the product of Karos’ partnership with Caringo, is the latest functionality to be added to Rialto, adding Caringo’s CAStor object-based storage to Rialto’s clinical exchange platform.

Rialto Vault leverages Caringo’s CAStor technology to simplify the secure exchange and storage of medical information, allowing institutions to unlock, exchange and store information using breakthrough technology for object-based storage. Rialto Vault marries Rialto’s clinical information exchange software platform with Caringo’s CAStor enabling scalable and reliable content storage.

Rialto Vault is optimized to manage the massive volume of patient information and medical images generated within healthcare facilities, and offers the scalability and ease of use required by healthcare providers. It supports a comprehensive list of IHE Integration Profiles as well as the most current implementation of industry standards DICOM and HL7 .

• Implements the IHE Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing (XDS.b) and IHE Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing for Imaging (XDS-I.b) Integration Profiles and includes Document Registry, Document Repository, Document Source, Imaging Document Source and Patient Identifier Cross-Reference Manager (PIXV2/PIX3) actors.
