Advancing Healthcare Information Exchange

Karos Health today announced receiving a $149,600 non-repayable financial contribution from the National Research Council of Canada’s Industrial Research Assistance Program(NRC-IRAP) as part of the Community Adjustment Fund. In addition to both technical and business oriented advisory services, this funding will support Karos Health in researching and developing innovative ways to simplify deployment, decrease operational costs and enhance security of its platform for cross-enterprise clinical information exchange.

Today, healthcare institutions face major challenges in the secure exchange of clinical information with other healthcare providers and patients. The innovative solutions resulting from our research and development efforts will lead to enhanced exchange of clinical information while at the same time reducing overall costs of collaboration, making Karos’ Rialto platform an obvious choice for today’s healthcare providers.

"NRC-IRAP is playing an important role in the growth of our company" said Rick Stroobosscher, President of Karos Health. "The financial support we are receiving from this program will help us continue to develop innovative solutions for the healthcare industry. We are proud to be receiving this recognition of the work and direction we are taking to commercialize our products."he added.
