MAQUET Cardiovascular signed a three-year contract with Novation to provide all of its cardiopulmonary (perfusion) products to the members of VHA Inc., UHC and Provista.

MAQUET Cardiovascular LLC, a leading provider of cardiovascular technologies, announced that it has signed a three-year contract with Novation, the industry's leading supply contracting company, to provide all of its cardiopulmonary (perfusion) products to the members of VHA Inc., University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) and Provista. The agreement becomes effective on January 1, 2010, and runs through December 31, 2012. MAQUET Cardiovascular's cardiopulmonary products are used in on-pump cardiac surgery and include heart-lung machines, the QUADROX-i family of generators, the ROTAFLOW Centrifugal Pump, the MECC (Minimized Extracorporeal Circulation) System, the PLEGIOX Cardioplegia Heat Exchanger, standard or customized tubing packs and a full line of adult, pediatric and ECMO cannulae.
