MAXANT unveils thin digital viewing station for increasingly crowded healthcare facilities. MediPort offers same compact, cost-effective design in thinner-than-ever view box at SIIMS 2007.
MAXANT Technologies, Inc., a leader in displaying medical images for more than three decades, introduces the latest, thin model in its popular digital viewing station MediPort at the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) 2007. The Annual Meeting is held from June 7 - 10, 2007 at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
MediPort is a high performance digital display solution in a film-viewer footprint. Available in single or multiple displays, with various color or gray-scale resolutions, MediPort configures to meet digital image viewing needs for virtually any clinical or diagnostic review application.
SIIMS attendees can experience first-hand the latest digital display workstation from MAXANT. The newest MediPort features a thin profile design that fits easily into any facility, regardless of tight spacing. It allows practitioners to incorporate the digital viewing where they need it most, even where viable square footage is at a premium.
As with all models in the line, the latest meets all of the stringent specifications of the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 60601 classification for medical safety standards, and has Food & Drug Administration (FDA) 510k Clearance.
"The MediPort has received tremendous response from end users as the market has shifted from analog film to digital and PACS. MAXANT has continued to innovate its solutions for those expanding the reach of their FDA application outside of the radiology reading room and into other areas such as the OR, ED, CCU, or patient exam rooms," MAXANT Chief Operating Officer John N. Patterson explains.
