Healthcare Brokerage Event at MEDICA 2010

Medical Conferences News - MEDICA 2010
The Brokerage Event at MEDICA 2010 offers the opportunity to hold 30-minute individually planned bilateral discussions with potential co-operation and business partners in the field of medical technology/healthcare.
Mülheim an der Ruhr/On the occasion of MEDICA 2010 in Düsseldorf, the world's largest trade exhibition for the medical sector, ZENIT GmbH is organising the international "Healthcare Brokerage Event" in co-operation with the Healthcare Sector Group of the "Enterprise Europe Network". The event will take place on 18 – 19 November 2010 and participants from throughout the EU as well as from other countries are expected.

The Brokerage Event offers the opportunity to hold 30-minute individually planned bilateral discussions with potential co-operation and business partners in the field of medical technology/healthcare. In this way, participants can exchange product ideas and initiate new business contacts, for example in the shape of technology co-operation or by seeking sales or research partners. In 2009, over 500 meetings took place in two days between 160 enterprises and research institutions from over 20 countries.

Interested participants submit their technology and/or business profiles online prior to the Brokerage Event. An online catalogue with all the profiles submitted will be available for viewing so that participants can select their discussion partners.

An effective and targeted implementation of structural and technology policy measures is a prerequisite for the success of a project. Since the end of the 1980’s, ZENIT GmbH in Mülheim an der Ruhr has been resheaponsible for running programmes and projects for companies, national and regional ministries, the European Commission, associations and public institutions.

As National Contact Point for various EU programmes on behalf of the national government, ZENIT makes an important contribution to increasing the number of German participants by offering a complete service package which includes advice for applicants and assessment of project ideas.

As one of the European Commission’s Innovation Relay Centres and thus part of the largest technology transfer network world-wide, ZENIT contributed actively from 1995 onwards to transnational technology transfer. The IRC connected knowledge, technologies and people. And as Euro Info Centre, ZENIT provided its clients from 1987 onwards with information on EU issues: from A for Athens to Z for Zaragoza. Now that the work of both networks is being continued and further developed in a new organisational form (from April 2008), ZENIT – together with NRW.Bank – is the central contact point for all topics concerning Europe. Under the name of NRW.Europa, ZENIT offers enterprises and research institutions a complete service package.
