Matrox to Highlight Innovative Video Wall for Medical Presentation, Training and OR Environments at MEDICA 2011

Medical Conferences News - MEDICA 2011

Matrox Graphics
announced that it is collaborating with NEC Display Solutions Europe to demonstrate a nine-monitor video wall solution at MEDICA 2011 (Hall 15/C44).

A Matrox Mura MPX™ Series-based system using single-slot, input/output video wall controller boards will drive a 3x3 video wall—at resolutions of 1920x1080 per display—to showcase a variety of inputs that include a Matrox Xenia™ Series-powered diagnostic workstation, a medical projector, as well as a radiology viewing station. With support for up to four inputs and four outputs on a single board, Mura makes it simple for medical AV integrators to build video walls for operating rooms, radiology training rooms, and medical presentation environments.

Matrox Mura MPX single-slot, four input/four output video wall controller boards are based on PCI Express x16 Gen 2 technology that leverage 64 Gbit/sec duplex data transfer for flawless display of Full HD inputs across Full HD outputs. A video wall on a board, a single Mura is capable of driving medical presentation platforms, while multiple Mura boards can be combined to build high-density, scalable AV video walls.

Matrox Xenia single-slot, triple-monitor display controller boards include forward and backward-compatibility with a broad range of monitors and projectors for the utmost flexibility. Additional key benefits include pristine image quality at resolutions up to 8MP, new technology to enable optimum display calibration (via Matrox DLC™ and 8/10/13-bit gamma LUTs), and Matrox PowerDesk Zoom functionality, which enables the replication of any portion of a dual-display desktop using a single projector.
