The Spectris Solaris EP Mobile MR Injection System
Q: What are the benefits of using your product?
Power injection in MR offers several key benefits; precise timing of contrast media delivery, consistent and reproducible images across patients, and time and cost savings. The Spectris Solaris EP Mobile Injection System offers the same benefits of the Spectris Solaris EP, in a more convenient space-saving design. This includes approval for use up to 3T, six user-defined phases (both hold and pause phases available), and independent KVO function.
Q: How does MEDRAD maintain such a high level of customer loyalty?
MEDRAD is a trusted leader in the complicated MR environment, with a proven 15-year track record and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Our vast network of field service representatives ensures maximum equipment up time, and our clinical support specialists are dedicated to helping clinicians understand current and emerging applications.
Q: Where does MEDRAD R & D strength come from?
For over 15 years, MEDRAD has been designing and building products specifically for the complicated MR environment. We were the first company to offer injection technology for MR imaging, and today the Spectris Solaris EP is the most widely used MR injection system in the world, having helped with the creation of over ten million images since its introduction.
We have a continued focus on new ways to enable or enhance diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures. Many of our enhancement ideas are opportunities identified by our customers, ideas they provide or needs we observe. It helps to have a field team out there with customers every day dedicated to their success and improving the quality of healthcare.
Q: How do you see the year ahead in clinical and business terms?
The increased awareness and need for breast and cardiac MRI are real growth opportunities in our industry. We also expect to see many of the same challenges we faced in 2007. Reimbursement reductions stemming from the DRA of 2005 continue to impact the industry. Despite this challenge, we see good growth opportunities for MR and for MEDRAD.
