MEDSEEK announced plans to develop CHRISTUS Health’s consumer portal in a first step toward implementing the eHealth ecoSystem by MEDSEEK.

MEDSEEK will work quickly to revitalize the healthcare system’s Web presence, which has not seen a major update since CHRISTUS was formed, and consolidate its 18 sites into a single, enterprise-wide consumer portal. Existing vendor contracts require a June 2010 go-live date for the new community-facing site, which will drive increased Web traffic, greater brand recognition and high user loyalty. In addition, the solution will allow for future system integration, is scalable for future growth and positions the CHRISTUS network to continue effectively engaging and serving patients, residents and consumers.
