MEDSEEK Climbs the Ranks of the HCI 100 with Increased Adoption of Its eHealth Portals and eHealth ecoSystem
| Company News - MEDSEEK, Inc. |
MEDSEEK Ascends 11 Spots in Two Years – Reaching #72 in the Top 100 List
MEDSEEK, a leading provider of healthcare enterprise portal solutions, announced its third consecutive year on the HCI 100, climbing up six spots from last year due to increased adoption of its eHealth portals and eHealth ecoSystem. MEDSEEK’s recognition in the June 2009 issue of Healthcare Informatics underscores the increase in demand and overwhelming successes of its clients in making integrated eHealth a reality for all healthcare stakeholders – consumers, members, providers and hospitals.
The HCI 100 ranking is based on performance in 2008. MEDSEEK reported a record year in 2008, fueled by a 47 percent increase in client contracts and a 33 percent increase in software licenses. Its performance in 2009 continues to keep pace with the signing of five new clients in the first quarter alone. In addition to its ranking on the HCI 100, MEDSEEK also received coveted industry recognition when it was named KLAS Category Leader for Clinical Portals in the “Top 20 Best in KLAS Awards: Software & Professional Services” report released last December.
According to Peter Kuhn, CEO of MEDSEEK, “We are pleased to see our ranking elevate once again, in our third year on the HCI 100, heightening awareness of our transformative eHealth ecoSystem solutions. MEDSEEK’s vendor-agnostic, Web-based technology and services are helping hospitals and health systems throughout North America leverage their existing IT investments to promote health information exchange and completely redefine the healthcare experience for all constituents. Our specific eHealth expertise and proprietary technologies are unique in our industry, delivering a seamless user experience that bridges the data and communication gaps that exist in today’s challenged healthcare system.”
