MagView Introduces State of the Art Tablet PC Patient History Module at BIC 2007
| Company News - MagView |
MagView Patient History module allows breast imaging facilities to electronically collect the same breast history information that patients are currently filling out on paper
MagView ’s latest technology, a paperless Patient History module designed to run on Tablet PCs, will be introduced at the 2007 Breast Imaging Conference in San Antonio, Texas. MagView’s Patient History module allows breast imaging facilities to electronically collect the same breast history information that patients are currently filling out on paper. Once a patient has completed entering in her pertinent breast history, the information is automatically entered in the patient’s electronic chart in MagView.
The Patient History screens are designed for breast centers and their patients. Questions are displayed with large fonts that reduce eye strain and phrased in layman terms. With large “Back” and “Next” buttons, even patients with little computer knowledge can immediately use MagView’s Patient History module without trouble.
When a patient completes her questionnaire with MagView’s Patient History module, the information is securely uploaded to her record in MagView, thus eliminating the need for a staff member to manually enter the data. MagView’s Patient History module supports a paperless workflow by providing technologists and radiologists with immediate access to the patient’s history in MagView without the need for additional paper.
MagView ’s Patient History module speeds up the check-in process by remembering all of the patient’s previous answers. When a patient returns for her next visit, the entered information is already populated on the questionnaire; all the patient must do is verify that nothing has changed.
Although designed for ease of use on any Tablet PC, MagView’s Patient History module can also run at a kiosk or any other Windows OS workstation.
