Carestream Health, Inc., announced it recently signed contracts for its Kodak mammography CAD system with breast imaging facilities across the nation. Carestream Health, Inc., announced it recently signed contracts for its Kodak mammography CAD system with breast imaging facilities across the nation. Mammography facilities report the Kodak CAD system is easy to use, offers an efficient workflow and delivers diagnostic accuracy.

"I appreciate the Kodak mammography CAD system's ease of use. When a technologist is not available, I can load films myself and continue reading," added David R. Anderson, M.D., Director, Breast Center of Lansing.

John F. Garvish, M.D., ordered the Kodak CAD system because he was impressed with its algorithm performance as well as its workflow. "The KODAK CAD system offers excellent accuracy and does not have the high rate of false positives I was experiencing with my previous CAD system," he said.

The following facilities are among those that recently purchased the Kodak CAD system:

Breast Center of Lansing (Lansing, Mich.) ordered a Kodak mammography CAD system to replace an existing CAD system.

John F. Garvish, M.D., (Plainview, Texas) replaced an outdated CAD system with a new KODAK CAD system to better serve patients at his freestanding general radiology imaging center.

Laurel Diagnostics (Laurel, Md.) purchased a Kodak CAD system for its diagnostic imaging center that provides mammography and general radiology exams.

Metroplex Hospital (Killeen, Texas) ordered a Kodak CAD system for its hospital-based imaging center.

Mountain Community Hospital (Lake Arrowhead, Calif.) purchased a Kodak CAD System for its diagnostic imaging center.
