Matrox Xenia Pro to drive cost-effective Carestream mammography solution for breast imaging facilities at RSNA-2010 .

Matrox Graphics Inc., the leading manufacturer of specialized graphics solutions, announced that Carestream Health has selected Matrox Xenia Series display controller boards to drive a variety of CARESTREAM PACS and mammography deployments. Xenia and Xenia Pro deliver smooth, reliable image quality plus triple high-resolution monitor support from a single PCI Express slot. RSNA-2010 attendees are invited to booth #222 (Lakeside Center) where Carestream Health will be demonstrating their digital mammography workstation using the Matrox Xenia Pro board.

This eliminates workflow bottlenecks created by the need for radiologists to read FFDM exams on each vendor’s proprietary workstation, and then switch to additional workstations to review other types of breast and general radiology exams.
