MeDiSol, a division of Rein EDV GmbH, recently announced that it is bundling QUBYX PerfectLum calibration software–including support for Matrox Xenia c–with MeDiSol VIEWMEDIC displays. With an integrated cpreset providing an accurate grayscale curve and medical approval according to EN60601-1 and EN60601-1-2, MeDiSol VIEWMEDIC displays provide the pristine image quality required by medical imaging professionals. Quality assurance monitoring and precise calibration provided via QUBYX PerfectLum software ensures that these displays continue to conform to medical standards such as DICOM, AAPM, and DIN over time. A robust solution including a Scheduler, Remote Control, and up to 36-bit Look-up Tables (three times 12-bit), QUBYX PerfectLum goes a step further with their support for Xenia DLC technology. While other solutions enable technicians to measure luminance discrepancies between various points on the screen, QUBYX PerfectLum combined with Matrox Xenia Series display controller boards will actually correct these discrepancies, resulting in more uniform luminance across the whole display.
"The high-quality display devices from Rein EDV GmbH, combined with the PerfectLum medical calibration software from QUBYX, including support for Xenia DLC technology, provide critical tools to the medical imaging industry," says Marc Leppla, director of QUBYX.
"Our valued relationship with QUBYX has resulted in the development of calibration functionality for our medical displays, allowing us to reach our goal of making the highest quality solutions available to our customers," says Stephan Rein, managing partner of Rein EDV GmbH. "We have bundled our medical monitors with Matrox display controller boards in the past, and are looking forward to continuing this relationship, taking advantage of new features available in Xenia Series, supported by QUBYX PerfectLum calibration software."
"Matrox display controller boards are designed to provide the utmost in image quality for medical imaging professionals," says George Rigas, business development manager of medical imaging, Matrox Graphics, Inc. "The unique combination of Matrox boards with MeDiSol displays and QUBYX calibration software brings the best of each company's efforts together for a picture-perfect solution."
