MedPro Imaging Acquires MC Ultrasound

MedPro Imaging, a premium provider of new and refurbished ultrasound solutions, announced that the Company has acquired MC Ultrasound, a leading on-site ultrasound provider for high quality, reliable ultrasound staffing and services throughout the Chicago area.
The acquisition marks yet another milestone in MedPro Imaging's significant growth in 2009 as the Company continues its commitment of providing quality ultrasound imaging solutions.

"We share the common goal of providing the right solutions to fulfill our customers' ultrasound imaging needs. This acquisition is a natural addition to our growing family of products and services."
MC Ultrasound, LLC was founded 10 years ago by Robin Hoffman, MS, RDMS, RVT, RT, a graduate of Johns Hopkins Hospital diagnostic medical sonography program. MC Ultrasound provides affordable services to private medical groups, community centers and facilities. These services include cardiovascular (adult and pediatric), vascular, women's health, abdominal, small parts and MSK exams. Experienced board certified radiologists are available to provide quality interpretations in a timely manner, in addition to immediate quality technical findings following every exam. MC Ultrasound will become a division of MedPro Imaging and continue under the direction of Hoffman as chief operating officer of the unit.
In addition to the new mobile services, the Wisconsin-based MedPro Imaging markets ultrasound products and services in 17 countries, globally. MedPro provides new and used options in ultrasound systems, transducers and parts. The Company offers ultrasound products which focus on leading manufacturers of ultrasound systems. These include GE , Mindray , Siemens , Sonosite , ATL / Philips and other highly trusted brands.
