Fujifilm Medical Systems USA, Inc. is pleased to announce two significant Fuji DR sales resulting in the purchase of 20 new systems.

Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, NY, and Swedish Covenant Hospital, Chicago, IL, have selected Fujifilm's DR systems for their high productivity and unparalleled image quality for digital radiography imaging. These wins have created and enhanced lasting relationships with customers who recognize Fujifilm’s proven reliability, excellent service and continued support.

Bassett Healthcare

Bassett Healthcare and affiliates is a system of physicians, providers, hospitals and community health centers in eight counties, covering 5,000 square miles. Bassett has recently purchased 14 FDR systems to replace the existing analog x-ray systems currently in use. Bassett's main facility, Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, NY, is the site of the first FDR Dual Velocity SpeedSuite® system installation. Additional FDR Dual Velocity SpeedSuite systems will be installed to maximize workflow in each of Bassett's Herkimer and Oneonta facilities. A long time Fujifilm customer, Bassett already utilizes seven Fuji Computed Radiography (FCR) multiple and single plate systems, and is looking forward to the enterprise-wide installation of Fuji Computed Radiography for Mammography (FCRm) Full Field Digital Mammography (FFDM) systems both in imaging departments and for mobile mammography.

Swedish Covenant Hospital

Swedish Covenant Hospital is a comprehensive healthcare facility providing health and wellness services to the communities of Chicago's North and Northwest sides. Swedish Covenant Hospital is replacing an existing Digital Radiography (DR) system and converting all of their remaining analog x-ray systems with six FDR systems to maximize their productivity while maintaining the highest level of image quality. Recognizing the many advanced benefits of Fujifilm's latest DR detector technology, the hospital chose Fujifilm's FDR Dual Velocity fp (focused phosphor) SpeedSuite systems, and is also one of the first customers to purchase the recently FDA cleared Unity SpeedSuite, an innovative digital x-ray system with the ability to do multiple exam types with a single DR detector. The ease of use and overall synergy across the breadth of Fujifilm products was instrumental in this decision. Swedish Covenant Hospital also uses Fujifilm's Synapse® PACS, Fuji Computed Radiography (FCR), and Fuji Computed Radiography for Mammography (FCRm) FFDM systems.
