Information on a range of cardiac imaging solutions from Siemens ill be available on the Siemens stand at Heart Rhythm Congress 2008 in October.

Siemens Healthcare offers a range of cardiac imaging solutions for minimally invasive routine procedures, advanced magnetic navigation electrophysiology and hybrid solutions for the operating theatre environment.  Information on these innovations and the benefits delivered in the field of arrhythmia will be available on the Siemens stand at Heart Rhythm Congress 2008 to be held in the Hilton Birmingham Metropole from 19th – 22nd October.

Information on the Artis zee family of interventional imaging systems will be available from representatives on the stand.  When installed with the unique imaging application, syngo DynaCT Cardiac, these systems are able to deliver 3D and 4D images of the beating heart direct to the cath lab.  This enhances decision making, procedure planning and catheter guidance.

Presentations and best practice examples of other applications will also be available.  Used in Electrophysiology and Haemodynamics, the AXIOM Sensis XP is a recording solution that is able to support even the most advanced procedures.  The system can also optimise workflow, enabling fast and precise diagnosis through advanced measurement functions.  It can easily integrate into other systems such as those from the Artis zee family.  If installed with Siemens' cardiac reporting system, syngo Dynamics, comprehensive post cath lab procedure reports can be created quickly and efficiently.

Customer sites using Siemens innovations for cardiac imaging include Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Trust, where an AXIOM Artis dFC angiography system is part of a magnetic navigation catheter lab used for interventional cardiology including radiofrequency ablations.  The Royal Liverpool Children's NHS Trust, Alder Hey, uses Siemens solutions for paediatric cardiac procedures.  It has a biplane flat detector Artis zee for cardiac diagnostics and investigations.
