Medison Co. Ltd plans a global launch of its new ACCUVIX V20 model in the second half of this year, starting with ISUOG 2008 in Chicago in August and RSNA in November.

Medison Co., Ltd (CEO: JB Choi, www.medison.com), a world leader in 3D/4D ultrasound systems and the first to develop and commercialize 3D ultrasound image technology, plans a global launch of its new ACCUVIX V20 model in the second half of this year.

The technology-intensive new product is to be showcased at major international conferences and exhibitions, starting with ISUOG 2008 in Chicago in August and RSNA in November.

ACCUVIX V20 is the new generation product, in the series of the ACCUVIX, the flagship model of MEDISON. It is an innovative development with new cutting-edge image technology and design engineering.

The VolumeOS, the fundamental operating system of ACCUVIX V20, is commonly designated a hardware-software structure optimized for 3D/4D ultrasound diagnoses, helping practitioners who are used to 3D/4D diagnoses minimize redundant time with confidence in dignosis.

Current state-of-the-art technologies such as 3D XITM, XI VOCALTM are reinforced and adapted to ACCUVIX V20, and a number of revolutionary new technologies including Color STICTM, Inversion 3D, OVIXTM and VCETM enabling effective and precise diagnoses, are included, offering even more vivid 2D images, not to mention far more powerful and rapid 3D/4D performance. Such powerful functions will provide the highest level of system response time thanks to its optimum design of the function structure over the overall system.

In addition, the new model offers much faster and more convenient diagnosis. The sophisticated ergonomic design includes a large 10.4 LCD intuitive touch panel and an articulated arm provides the optimal environment of comfort and functionality when performing the ultrasound examination.
