Merge Healthcare has announced the launch of a dedicated MergeCOM-3™ web site, providing on-line resources and community for DICOM developers.

Merge Healthcare (NASDAQ:MRGE)(TSX:MRG), a leading medical imaging solutions provider, announced the launch of a dedicated MergeCOM-3™ web site, providing on-line resources and community for Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine ("DICOM") developers.

The new web site, www.mergecom3.com, offers evaluation downloads for the latest version of MergeCOM-3™, development resources and training course information. The latest version of MergeCOM-3™ (Release 3.8) download is available for both Windows and Linux operating systems, supporting programming in C/C++, C#.Net and Java programming languages. Documentation available includes, programming manuals, code samples and key release information for version 3.8. MergeCOM-3™. Release 3.8 introduces support for a number of key DICOM standard supplements, as well as improved multi-threading capability, compression support and updated sample applications.
