Orthocrat, Ltd announced today that Duke University Hospital, in Durham, North Carolina, has purchased TraumaCad(TM).
Duke University Hospital is on the Honor Roll of America's Best Hospitals, as published by US News and World Report. It is listed in the Top Ten list of hospitals, and has seven clinical programs in the Top Ten list, including orthopedics.
"We are honored to be selected by Duke," said Zeev Glozman, Orthocrat's founder and CEO. "We expect that top-tier academic institutions using TraumaCad will only help improve this, and our other products, so that busy surgeons, anywhere, can pay more attention to their patients without worrying about altering their practice patterns because of the relentless transformation to digital imaging."
TraumaCad will be integrated with other existing systems at Duke and will ultimately enable surgeons to have single-click access to TraumaCad.
Orthocrat will present its preoperative planning solutions and other workflow solutions at the 18th annual Baltimore Limb Deformity Course in Baltimore, Maryland, from August 31 to September 3, 2008.
