Lake-Sumter Community College licensed NCG Medical 's electronic health records system Perfect Care EHR to support its Health Information Management programs.

NCG Medical , a leading provider of electronic health records software (EHR), announced that Lake-Sumter Community College (LSCC) has licensed NCG Medical's electronic health records system Perfect Care EHR to support its Health Information Management programs. Lake-Sumter Community College is the third academic institution in the state of Florida to license Perfect Care EHR.

With over 5,000 students, 25 end users, and several programs to support, LSCC needed an electronic health records system that was comprehensive and easy to use. "We wanted a product that provided a real depth of integration for our students between the practice management system and electronic medical records," said Brandy Ziesemer HIM program manager at Lake-Sumter Community College. LSCC licensed Perfect Care EHR, after it became clear that "no other company out there could meet the requirements we had for an EHR system," Ms. Ziesemer explained.
