Kyron Clinical Imaging adds Cleveland Clinic neuroradiologist to medical advisory board

Kyron has announced that Dr. Micheal D. Phillips of the Cleveland Clinic has joined Kyron's Medical Advisory Board. Kyron Clinical Imaging, developers of breakthrough brain imaging software that helps physicians better plan and treat tissue tumors and other neurological disorders through the intuitive organization of data, has announced that Dr. Micheal D. Phillips of the Cleveland Clinic has joined Kyron's Medical Advisory Board.

Phillips' research has the potential to improve the quality of life in patients suffering from neurodegenerative disorders, including multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease.

"Dr. Phillips has extensive research experience in the field of radiology and functional MR imaging of neurodegenerative processes, and we are excited to have him join our Medical Advisory Board," said Paul Schmelzer, Kyron's Chief Executive Officer. "His background and interest in multimodality and multiparameter imaging will make an important contribution to Kyron's product development."

Phillips is a practicing clinical neuroradiologist and imaging researcher at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to settling in Ohio, he completed a fellowship in neuroradiology with the University of Pennsylvania and his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Phillips received his medical degree from Columbia University and an undergraduate degree from Amherst College. He joins a collection of esteemed physicians as a member of the Kyron Advisory Board, including John Ulmer, Jay Pillai, Lofti Hacein-Bey, Andrai Holodny, Meng Law, Ashthok Narayana, Elias Melhem and Aaron Field.
