NightRays Announces Its New Name: “Rays”
| Company News - NightRays |
Offering expanded services and solutions, teleradiology provider undergoes extensive rebranding.
NightRays announced that it has changed its name and rebranded itself as “ Rays .” Rays is a privately held teleradiology company based in Littleton, CO that serves and collaborates with hospitals, radiology practices, stand-alone emergency rooms, and imaging facilities and centers across the United States.
The name change is a result of the broader direction and wider set of services provided by Rays. While Rays started as a night-only teleradiology provider, during the last five years Rays has responded to client requests for additional services and now offers 24/7 final reads, radiology business consultation, direct billing, RIS/PACS systems, radiology technology, and placement of shared onsite radiologists (RadShareTM). Rays will continue to offer its highly regarded night service as well.
Dr. Greg Rose, Rays’ Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer, stated, “With these new services, we’re anticipating major growth over the next 12 months.”
In keeping with its patient-centric philosophy, Rays invests a significant amount in telemedicine research and development to support the continuous improvement of patient care. The Rays product development pipeline is designed to improve information processing, worker efficiency, and patient communication. Some recent examples of new products and services are VidRay®, RaysTrackerTM, and RadShareTM.
Dr. Rose concluded, “In addition to launching new services and rebranding our company, we’re also hiring more personnel to keep pace with our growth. We’ve had a busy and exciting time in 2010 and I can’t wait to see what next year holds.”
