Colorado-based Telerad Provider Earns Top Marks for quality of staff, executive involvement, problem resolution and overall communication from Its Clients
Rays (formerly NightRays ), a privately held teleradiology company based in Littleton, CO that serves and collaborates with hospitals, radiology practices, stand-alone emergency rooms, and imaging facilities and centers across the United States, recently received an overall score of 93.7 out of 100 in an independent study about major teleradiology providers entitled, “ Teleradiology Study 2010: A Detailed Read on the Market,” which was “the highest in the report.”
In October 2010, KLAS, an independent healthcare research and consulting firm, released the results of its evaluation of eight major teleradiology companies. Based on client input, Rays received a total score of 93.7. Rays was the only teleradiology provider to score in the 90s. Because Rays serves only one U.S. regional area (South) it was included in the report, but was not ranked.
Rays “earned the highest scores in almost every area measured in [the] study.” And Rays’ clients reported to KLAS that Rays provides “Great service and open communication” as well as high quality reports. The complete findings are available in a written report, which may be purchased from KLAS (www.KLASresearch.com).
Dr. Greg Rose, Rays’ Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer, stated, “We couldn’t be prouder of the great people at Rays. This customer feedback is a reflection of them. Rays is also a reflection of our clients to whom we are indebted for their continuous feedback. They have created us over the years. We have spent quite a bit of time studying the report to clearly understand our clients’ comments and learn what we can to continue to improve services. We are honored and proud to receive such scores.”
This year marks the first KLAS report to include Rays. KLAS categorized Rays as a regional vendor due to the number of states Rays currently serves, although Rays is currently accepting clients from any of the 50 states.
