Idaho Facilities Installs Novarad's NovaPACS
| Company News - Novarad Corporation |
Two Idaho facilities to install Novarad 's NovaPACS to improve workflow.

Two Idaho clinics are the latest to install Novarad 's NovaPACS to improve workflow and ease image access for interpreting and referring physicians. The clinics include:
Saltzer Medical in Nampa
The College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls
These latest installations bring the total number of hospitals, clinics and radiology centers in Idaho using Novarad technologies to 15.
The clinics selected Novarad because of its affordable turnkey solutions and rapid installation. NovaPACS can be installed in as little as three weeks and facilities typically see an ROI in less than one year.
An additional factor behind the decision to install NovaPACS is that it is a fully scalable, completely web-based system.
"Web-based PACS offers a significant benefit to rural clinics and hospitals as access to information and images is available anytime and from any location," said Paul Shumway, Novarad vice president. "Often the clinics have contracts with contracts in larger more metropolitan areas and the web-based PACS helps to simplify and speed the sharing of study images, which in turn, helps facilitate a faster diagnosis and improved patient care for patients in rural communities."
NovaPACS is Novarad's complete, enterprise-level PACS offering fast image retrieval, full-feature viewer with an intuitive interface, and 7-year on-site archive with off site emergency back up. Full screen viewing, easy to use menus and mouse-based functions are available to help enhance efficiency and referring physicians have complete access to images and reports from any computer.
