Novarad adds Kansas Hospital to PACS roster
| Company News - Novarad Corporation |
Graham County Hospital (GCH), located in Hill City, Kan., selected Novarad's NovaPACS to help simplify access to studies between the hospital and radiologist groups that read for GCH.
The factors that influenced Graham County Hospital's selection included Novarad offered a turnkey PACS solution and included hardware replacement and software technology refreshes at no additional cost.
This contract brings Novarad's installations in Kentucky hospitals, clinics and imaging centers to more than 20. The company has more than 350 installations of its systems worldwide.
"Like many rural hospitals, Graham County Hospital was seeking a PACS to enhance workflow efficiencies within the radiology department and enable studies to be read remotely," said Paul Shumway, Novarad vice president. "Because NovaPACS can be installed and live within four weeks, the hospital and its radiologists will experience eased access to images and significant time savings almost instantly."
NovaPACS is Novarad's complete, enterprise-level PACS offering fast image retrieval, full-feature viewer with intuitive interface, and seven-year on-site archive with off site emergency back up. Full screen viewing, easy to use menus and mouse-based functions are available to help enhance efficiency and referring physicians have complete access to images and reports from any computer. To complement NovaPACS, Novarad offers NovaRIS. Developed on the same platform as NovaPACS, NovaRIS generates reports, measures profitability and facilitates paperless management of patient records.
