Novarad Adds PACS Contract in Washington State
| Company News - Novarad Corporation |
Klickitat Valley Health in Goldendale, Wash. Is the latest facility to select Novarad's NovaPACS technology to enhance its diagnostic imaging services
NovaPACS is the most recent addition to Klickitat's new Digital Radiology Department.
This contract brings the number of PACS and RIS instllations at hospitals, imaging centers and clinics throughout Washington to one dozen and globally, more than 450.
Factors behind Klickitat Valley Health's decision to install NovaPACS were free hardware replacements and a rapid installation time. Novarad will maintain and replace the hardware at no additional cost to the facility. Also, the installation timeline for the system to be live and operational, including training, was only one month.
"We understand that reducing disruption to business operations and maintaining high-quality patient service during an installation is of utmost importance," said Paul Shumway, vice president at Novarad. "Our unique installation process is designed for the needs of today's fast-paced facilities. We resolve compatibility and hardware issues up-front to minimize downtime and get facilities up and live on NovaPACS fast."
NovaPACS is Novarad's complete, enterprise-level PACS offering fast image retrieval, full-feature viewer with intuitive interface, and 7-year on-site archive with off site emergency back up. Full screen viewing, easy to use menus and mouse-based functions are available to help enhance efficiency and referring physicians have complete access to images and reports from any computer.
