Novarad Adds PACS Contract with New Jersey Imaging Center
| Company News - Novarad Corporation |
American Fork, Utah Jan. 13, 2009 - Fair Lawn Diagnostic Imaging Center, Fair Lawn, N.J. selected Novarad's NovaPACS technology for the product's full functionality, ease of installation and competitive pricing.
Fair Lawn Diagnostic Imaging's radiologists are now able to access imaging studies, securely through the Web, at any time to help speed diagnosis turnaround time for its patients. Additionally, studies can be easily shared with referring physicians at other facilities through the PACS.
Because the PACS is standards based, built on the IHE platform and is DICOM 3.0 compliant, the system seamlessly integrated with the imaging center's existing technologies.
"We're pleased to add Fair Lawn as our newest imaging center customer," said Paul Shumway, senior vice president at Novarad. "We are looking forward to working with the center's radiologists to help meet their goals of continuing to provide high quality, cost-effective care to the community it serves."
NovaPACS is Novarad Corporation's complete, enterprise-level PACS offering fast image retrieval, full-feature viewer with intuitive interface, and 7-year on-site archive with off site emergency back up. Full screen viewing, easy to use menus and mouse-based functions are available to help enhance efficiency and referring physicians have complete access to images and reports from any computer.
