| Company News - Novarad Corporation |
Saint Catherine Regional Hospital in Charlestown, Ind. selected Novarad's NovaPACS
Saint Catherine Regional Hospital in Charlestown, Ind. selected Novarad's NovaPACS to simplify image access and improve radiology services for the rural community it serves.
The hospital's executive team chose Novarad because its PACS could be installed in fewer than four weeks and because hardware and software upgrades were included as part of the contract, helping to simplify budgeting.
"Rural facilities continue to select our technologies as we provide a fully scalable completely web-based PACS and 24 x 7 service at an affordable price point," said Paul Shumway, Novarad vice president. "It is rewarding to support the hospital in fulfilling its mission to serve its community by providing quality care in a fiscally responsible manner."
NovaPACS is Novarad's complete, turnkey PACS offering fast image retrieval, full-feature viewer with intuitive interface, and 7-year on-site archive with off site emergency back up. Full screen viewing, easy to use menus and mouse-based functions are available to help enhance efficiency and referring physicians have complete access to images and reports from any computer. To complement NovaPACS, Novarad offers NovaRIS. Developed on the same platform as NovaPACS, NovaRIS generates reports, measures profitability and facilitates paperless management of patient records.
