Novarad expands engineering team, adds senior sales engineer

Novarad announced today that it has once again expanded its team, naming Jeffrey Kennelly RT (R), CIIP as a Senior Sales Engineer to support the sales process by developing technical solutions, business cases and accompanying professional services to solve customer challenges and needs.
With more than 15 years of experience in the field of radiology and RIS/PACS, Kennelly has successfully transformed medical facilities across the nation from analog imaging systems to completely digital environments. During his career, he has held radiological management positions at the Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC; Carolinas Healthcare System; Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC; and Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City, Utah.
"Jeff's management skills and hands-on experience in optimizing radiology departments with RIS and PACS solutions are a tremendous addition to our deep bench of experienced radiology professionals," said Paul Shumway, vice president at Novarad Corporation. “Since our founding, our software has been architected, engineered and supported by radiologists and RTs and adding this new position aligns with our philosophy to support the needs of radiology professionals with the in-house expertise of our radiology professionals.”
Kennelly will support Novarad's key product line including:
- NovaPACS, open and scalable, the enterprise-level system built on the same database as NovaRIS,
- NovaRIS, a web-based radiology information system that tracks patient information, procedures, exam status, revenues and insurance payouts to help monitor quality, efficiency and profitability,
- NovaPACS Enterprise Archive, for fast image retrieval and extended storage,
- NovaWeb Server, enabling access to16-bit DICOM images and reports via the web,
- A full line of workstations, Computed Radiography (CR), archive management, image capturing and server products.
