Novarad Inks PACS Contract With Nebraska Clinic
| Company News - Novarad Corporation |
Kearney Clinic installed Novarad's NovaPACS
Kearney Clinic, P.C. located in Kearney, Neb., recently installed Novarad's NovaPACS for its on-site radiology department. Brown's Medical Imaging, a system integrator and Novarad distributor located in Nebraska, facilitated the contract with the clinic.
Decision makers at the rural clinic selected Novarad because it offered a complete web-based PACS, remote support and technology and hardware refreshes at no additional cost.
"Rural hospitals, clinics and imaging centers are working to fulfill the expectation to provide more and better services while working within increasingly constrained resources," said Paul Shumway, Novarad vice president. "NovaPACS provides a complete, fully-featured PACS through an affordable pricing model, users typically achieve a return on their investment in less than one year."
This latest contract brings Novarad's installations in Nebraska to 22. NovaPACS is Novarad's complete, turnkey PACS offering fast image retrieval, full-feature viewer with intuitive interface, and 7-year on-site archive with off site emergency back up. Full screen viewing, easy to use menus and mouse-based functions are available to help enhance efficiency and referring physicians have complete access to images and reports from any computer. To complement NovaPACS, Novarad offers NovaRIS. Developed on the same platform as NovaPACS, NovaRIS generates reports, measures profitability and facilitates paperless management of patient records.
