Novarad Inks PACS Contract with Ville Platte Medical Center

Company News - Novarad Corporation

Ville Platte Medical Center in Ville Platte, La., of LifePoint Hospitals, Inc. facility, is the latest to select Novarad's NovaPACS technology for its hospital.

After evaluating several PACS, Novarad's NovaPACS solution was selected because of its quality, cost, scalability and rapid installation time. The contract with Ville Platte Medical Center brings Novarad's total number of installations in Louisiana to more than 20. Worldwide, Novarad has more than 450 installations of its technologies.

NovaPACS is Novarad's complete, enterprise-level PACS offering fast image retrieval, full-feature viewer with intuitive interface, and 7-year on-site archive with off site emergency back up. Full screen viewing, easy to use menus and mouse-based functions are available to help enhance efficiency and referring physicians have complete access to images and reports from any computer.

"We look forward to working closely with Ville Platte and to helping its radiology department enhance the efficiency of its operations, speed workflow and ease access to studies," said Paul Shumway, vice president Novarad Corporation.
