To help further contain costs for small, budget-constrained facilities, NovaRad introduces the availability of NovaRIS and NovaPACS through an ASP model. "We started the company with a vision to provide high quality products at an affordable price and are continuing to make this a reality with this latest offering," said Paul Shumway, vice president, NovaRad Corporation. "Our ASP model further ensures that PACS and RIS can be affordable and attainable for any facility."

The cost of entry is a low upfront fee for set up and a per study fee. Facilities are able to choose the type of viewer and tech workstation that best suits their individual needs.

Images are stored on archives at NovaRad Corporation's International Data Center near Salt Lake City, Utah, and are accessed securely through a web browser. As with all NovaRad solutions, technical support is available 24 x 7.

NovaRIS and NovaPACS run on the same open source platform to ensure seamless integration between the two systems.
