Novarad Scores PACS Contract with Gove County Medical Center
| Company News - Novarad Corporation |
To help further enhance patient service, Gove County Medical Center (GCMC) in Quinter, Kans., has selected Novarad's NovaPACS technology. Radiologists at United Radiology Group read for GCMC and now, with NovaPACS, the studies can be accessed quickly and securely through any browser to help GCMC provide faster diagnostic services to the community it serves.
Brown's Medical Imaging, a Novarad distributor based in Kansas, facilitated the contract with GCMC.
Installation of NovaPACS at GCMC was completed in less than four weeks and radiologists from United Radiology Group are able to more easily access studies, resulting in decreased turnaround time for reports and improved service for patients.
NovaPACS is Novarad's complete, enterprise-level PACS offering fast image retrieval, full-feature viewer with intuitive interface, and 7-year on-site archive with off site emergency back up. Full screen viewing, easy to use menus and mouse-based functions are available to help enhance efficiency and referring physicians have complete access to images and reports from any computer.
