Novarad Signs Two New PACS Contracts, Adds Oregon Imaging Centers

Company News - Novarad Corporation
Spine Center Northwest and Beaver Sports Medicine imaging centers located in Corvallis, Ore. are the latest facilities to select Novarad's NovaPACS. Physicians at the centers selected NovaPACS because it offered a turnkey system that could be installed and live, with training, in less than four weeks. An additional factor in the selection decision was the availability of NovaCentral support that enables Novarad's customer support team to monitor, in real time, all of the critical functions of the PACS. The remote monitoring serves as a safeguard to ensure uptime and updates for optimal performance of the system.

"We're told our affordable pricing model is what first sets Novarad apart when our PACS is evaluated, but it is the technology's robust features, support and rapid installation that are without compare," said Paul Shumway, vice president at Novarad. "We are pleased to have earned the confidence of these imaging centers and we look forward to supporting them to help enhance their imaging and operations."

NovaPACS is Novarad's complete, turnkey PACS offering fast image retrieval, full-feature viewer with intuitive interface, and 7-year on-site archive with off site emergency back up. Full screen viewing, easy to use menus and mouse-based functions are available to help enhance efficiency and referring physicians have complete access to images and reports from any computer. To complement NovaPACS, Novarad offers NovaRIS. Developed on the same platform as NovaPACS, NovaRIS generates reports, measures profitability and facilitates paperless management of patient records.
