Three Kansas Facilities Pick PACS From Novarad

Company News - Novarad Corporation
Three Kansas medical facilities selected Novarad as their imaging technology provider To improve imaging and workflow
To improve imaging and workflow, three Kansas medical facilities selected Novarad as their imaging technology provider. The facilities include:

* Cloud County Health Center in Concordia
* Hodgeman County Health Center in Jetmore
* Sabetha Community Hospital in Sabetha

These new contracts bring Novarad's total number of installations in Kansas to 28. Brown's Medical Imaging, a distributor for Novarad Corporation, facilitated the PACS contracts.

Novarad was selected by the Kansas facilities because it offered a turnkey system at an affordable price including 24 x 7 IT support, freeing the facilities from having to maintain in-house IT. For those facilities that currently have in-house IT, the remote support will enable IT teams to refocus their time managing other applications for the organization rather than maintaining the radiology systems.

"It is tremendously rewarding to have our radiology technology play a part of empowering healthcare facilities to improve operational performance, service and the bottom line," said Paul Shumway, vice president at Novarad. "We are pleased that these three facilities found our offerings to be the best match for their needs."

NovaPACS is Novarad's complete, enterprise-level PACS offering fast image retrieval, full-feature viewer with intuitive interface, and 7-year on-site archive with off site emergency back up. Full screen viewing, easy to use menus and mouse-based functions are available to help enhance efficiency and referring physicians have complete access to images and reports from any computer.
