Three Utah facilities choose Novarad's NovaPACS

Company News - Novarad Corporation

Novarad Corporation announced that three facilities in Utah have selected Novarad's NovaPACS, bringing the number of Utah facilities choosing Novarad to 16.

Novarad Corporation announced that three facilities in Utah have selected Novarad's NovaPACS, bringing the number of Utah facilities choosing Novarad to 16.

The three most recent facilities to choose Novarad in Utah are:

  • Utah Cancer Specialists in Salt Lake City
  • Snow Canyon Clinic in Ivins
  • Weber State University/Radiologic Sciences Department in Ogden

The facilities selected NovaPACS because it offered a complete PACS at an affordable price. NovaPACS is suited for any size facility, from hospitals with fewer than ten to more than 500 beds and single-site to multi-site freestanding imaging centers. It is also offered through an ASP model and in a Spanish version.

"We have built our reputation on providing medical centers and facilities with a PACS that is complete, scalable and affordable and it is rewarding to have been selected by these facilities based on these factors," said Paul Shumway, vice president at Novarad.

NovaPACS is a complete, enterprise-level PACS offering fast image retrieval, full-feature viewer with intuitive interface, and seven-year on-site archive with off site emergency back up. Full screen viewing, easy to use menus and mouse-based functions are available to help enhance efficiency and referring physicians have complete access to images and reports from any computer.
