Intelerad Revitalises Legacy PACS with New Web Solutions and Mac SupportInteleFlex remote reading and InteleWeb remote viewing solutions provide radiology groups and hospitals with new options to maximise their medical imaging investment

Intelerad Medical Systems , a recognized leader in medical imaging PACS and workflow solutions, announced two new web-based solutions for radiologists and referring physicians to address the demand for more flexibility and Mac support without the burden of replacing existing systems.

InteleFlex is an add-on remote reading solution for radiologists who need to read for one or multiple remote acquisition sites; to offer sub-specialty coverage to different facilities, to accommodate after-hours shifts, or simply to be able to read from home. InteleFlex offers a fully-featured reading and reporting environment with Medical Systems 's workflow, universal worklist, and InteleViewer components. Radiologists benefit from high-performance secure data streaming and powerful image manipulation and layout tools within a single, integrated viewer. All Intelerad modules such as Breast Imaging, Quality Suite and Image Fusion are available for an enhanced reading and reporting experience.

InteleWeb , the referrers’ Web server solution, allows imaging centres and hospitals to offer a state-of-the-art remote viewing environment for medical images and reports to their referral base. InteleWeb provides secure HIPAA compliant administrative tools for managing and automating access to patient data at both the user and group-practice levels. It uses the same integrated viewer available with Intelerad’s award-winning IntelePACS and InteleOne solutions, so image and report access is feature-rich and intuitive to use. The native 64-bit InteleViewer for Mac users offers a powerful viewing experience and leverages the Mac OS X 64-bit Intel micro-processing power.
