NDS Surgical Imaging announced advanced visualization tools to view diagnostic images from Radiology NDS Surgical Imaging (NDSsi), a leading provider of medical visualization solutions for modern surgery suites, announced new advanced visualization tools that allow clinicians and surgeons in an operating room (OR) to view diagnostic images from Radiology. This innovation, Radiology Imaging for the Surgical Environment or RISE(TM), uses the Company's Visualization and Informatics technologies to provide a complete solution that enables real-time, interactive consultation for medical professionals in the OR. Digital Orthopaedic templating on X-Ray images are traditionally completed outside the OR. Using RISE(TM), these images can be transferred easily to a Boom or Cart mounted Surgical Display in the OR. Additionally, these high-resolution grayscale images can be accessed instantaneously and reviewed side-by-side a live HD feed from an orthopedic video camera, raising clinical confidence for Orthopaedic procedures and beyond.

"During a live case, surgeons and clinical teams may require previously completed, templated orthopaedic images in the OR.
