eRAD, a division of RadNet announced that Palo Verde Hospital, Blythe, California is now operational with eRAD's integrated RIS/PACS sold and installed by eRAD's authorized reseller.

eRAD, a division of RadNet, Inc., an industry leader in workflow solutions through its native Web-based RIS/PACS and Diagnostic Imaging Information management Systems, announced that Palo Verde Hospital, Blythe, California is now operational with eRAD's integrated RIS/PACS sold and installed by eRAD's authorized reseller, Merry X-Ray Corporation of Phoenix, Arizona.

Palo Verde Hospital, a hospital providing acute and comprehensive care and high-quality diagnostic imaging services to the desert community of Blythe, California, has completed a conversion and the migration of existing DICOM studies from an outdated system to web-based eRAD RIS/PACS . Patient images and diagnostic reports are accessed and diagnosed by radiologists situated at the hospital and from remote locations in and around the community.

"Palo Verde Hospital's selection criteria placed remote, web-access as one of the highest priorities. eRAD RIS / PACS meets the hospital's need to provide fast-and-easy access to diagnostic reports and images to referring physicians without an additional burden of investment or training on the part of the hospital," said Stephen Friedman, Executive Vice-president of eRAD.
