Quality Control Tool for Medical Imaging Now Enables HIE

PACSGEAR , the leading provider of imaging connectivity for electronic health records , announced a new release of its powerful Quality Control tool for PACS / EHR , GEARView™ QC 2.0. Planned for launch at the upcoming RSNA Annual Meeting, GEARView QC 2.0 now includes a comprehensive media import feature that lets hospitals and healthcare facilities securely upload and reconcile medical images and related results. This feature enables facility-to-facility imaging (F2F-I) and complements regional health information exchange ( HIE ) efforts.
