Kings County Public Health Department Selects Physician’s Trust To Streamline Office Workflow And Accounts Receivables Using Eclinicalworks Solutions

Physician’s Trust, an electronic medical records (EMR) workflow consulting firm for physician offices, announced that Kings County Public Health Department has selected Physician’s Trust to transition the Reproductive Health Clinic and Communicable Disease clinics to eClinicalWorks (eCW) practice management and Enterprise Business Optimizer (eBO) solutions. As part of this agreement the Physician’s Trust team will implement, train and provide workflow support for Kings County Medical as they move to refine their scheduling, billing, document management and reporting processes with the goal of improving patient flow and accelerating accounts receivables.

“We selected Physician’s Trust because they offered the right combination of strong, local customer service and represent a software solution that provides ease of data input, the ability to input your own schedule, a relational database and flags to alert staff to the status of the waiting room through the office visit screen, to name a few,” said Kathy Mittleider, Supervising Public Health Nurse from Kings County Public Health Department. “As a county healthcare center, we often face busy waiting rooms during peak hours. A key focus of this implementation is to improve patient flow from the registration desk all the way through check‐out, increasing our patient care and satisfaction and ultimately reducing our patients wait time.”

Kings County is also implementing the eClinicalWorks eBO solution. This solution provides the practice with an intuitive reporting engine to manage the financial health of the practice through key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards including financial, clinical and business data. The engine allows for drill down capabilities on dashboards, scheduled actions and reports driven by events. The eBO system is easy to customize and incorporates data, text, graphics and charts.
