State-of-the-Art Application and Database Software Automates Oregon Multi‐Specialty Clinic with Over 100,000 Patients

North Bend Medical Centers of Coos Bay Oregon, a 55-physician, 300+ employee, multi specialty clinic and provider to over 60,000 patients, is an innovative user of healthcare information technology. The clinic is comprised of five locations across southern Oregon and represents 15 medical specialties and has partnered closely with PracticeOne and Oracle as key technology providers to support its doctors and clinics.

North Bend is a long time user of PracticeOne’s Practice Management (PM) system and is now completing a clinic‐wide implementation of PracticeOne’s Electronic Health Records (EHR) system. To date, approximately half of the 300 employees and 55 physicians are actively using the EHR, with plans for a complete roll out throughout the entire operation by mid‐year, 2010.
