Prime Clinical Systems' Patient Chart Manager Earns Meaningful Use Certification

Company News - Prime Clinical Systems, Inc.

Patient Chart Manager from Prime Clinical Systems has been tested and certified under InfoGard's Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB) program.

Prime Clinical Systems has received the government's requisite stamp of approval and is now officially ready to help medical group practices achieve meaningful use -- and qualify for their share of the government's incentive funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Prime Clinical's Patient Chart Manager software was tested and certified under InfoGard's Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB) program. As such, the EHR software is 2011/2012 compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.

"The certification is another milestone in our company's history that simply confirms what we have known for a long time: We are producing software that truly meets the needs of group practices across the country," says Barry Ardelan, CEO of Prime Clinical Systems. "With this certification, medical groups can confidently implement our software -- and know that they are on the track toward meeting the government's incentive payment requirements."

Prime Clinical Systems has been developing and marketing its software solutions for more than 27 years. During this time, the company has succeeded by focusing on software development and customer service. In fact, Prime Clinical has grown organically to serve more than 10,000 physicians across the country by providing unparalleled practice management , document management and EHR systems backed by attentive customer service.

Although the certification offers the assurance that Prime Clinical Systems is capable of meeting meaningful use requirements, the fact the company has been in business for more than a quarter of a century should give medical practices even more confidence as they embark on the electronic records journey.

"The company is profitable even without any sales- and we don't carry any debt. As a result, we not only offer great software solutions but we also offer a company that will be here for the long haul. We are successful because we know what medical practices want -- and we know how to deliver it," Ardelan says.

Patient Chart Manager, for example, overcomes many adoption hurdles by offering physicians the ability to customize templates to develop individualized patient charts. In addition, clinicians can choose from a variety of input methods. Physicians can select from several options including a keyboard, advanced templating and drop down lists, a stylus that enables handwriting, dictation or voice recognition.

Because all Prime Clinical software is developed in-house, instead of being acquired from other companies, Prime Clinical's solutions share a common central database. As a result, the electronic records system works seamlessly with Intellect, Prime Clinical's powerful practice management and billing system.

"We're making it easy for medical groups to not only jump on the technology bandwagon -- but to realize results quickly," Ardelan says. "With our many years of experience, we know what it takes to help medical practices truly tap into the power of technology."
