Saint Francis Health System selected ProVation Medical Software for cardiology procedure documentation and coding
Wolters Kluwer Health , a leading global provider of information for healthcare professionals and students, announced that Saint Francis Health System has selected its ProVation MD software for comprehensive cardiology procedure documentation and coding at Saint Francis Hospital.
ProVation MD software for procedure documentation and coding compliance replaces dictation/transcription and streamlines the coding and billing process. Unlike Cardiovascular Information Systems ( CVIS ), which collect patient measurements and administrative data, ProVation MD lets clinicians quickly and completely document medical procedures at the point of care, then applies the appropriate reimbursement codes to drive compliance and revenue recovery. ProVation MD interfaces with cardiovascular nursing, imaging and measurement systems to complete the electronic documentation process and free busy cardiologists and technologists from time-consuming dictation.
Located in Tulsa, Okla., the 918-bed Saint Francis Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited acute care facility known for outstanding medical care and sophisticated values. It has been named Tulsa’s Consumer Choice hospital for more than 10 years and is the recipient of numerous 4-star and 5-star patient satisfaction awards from Professional Research Consultants (PRC).
“Saint Francis hospital is dedicated to promoting high standards of service and performance in the communities it serves,” said Arvind Subramanian, CEO, Wolters Kluwer Health Clinical Solutions division. “We are pleased that Saint Francis, which already utilizes ProVation MD for gastroenterology, has expanded its relationship with us to include ProVation MD for Cardiology to further this mission and provide streamlined documentation and coding of its full scope of cardiology services, including cardiac catheterization, echocardiogram and nuclear imaging.”
