IBA LXchroma and LXcan Integrated in QUBYX PerfectLum Medical Calibration Software
| Company News - QUBYX Software Technologies |
PerfectLum calibrates displays to conform to medical standards like DICOM to allow diagnostics and viewing of medical images on computer displays.
LXchroma is a high-end spotmeter and spectrophotometer capable to measure colors and luminance values accurately on computer displays and projectors. Lxcan is a high-end spotmeter capable to measure luminance values accurately on computer displays and projectors. This bundle combines the pristine image quality of QUBYX software and high quality of the IBA spotmeters to produce a high-functionality bundle aimed at radiologists' needs.
The PerfectLum solution includes also hardware calibration with DDC/CI communication, Scheduler, Remote Control and up to 36 Bit Look Up Tables (3 times 12 Bit).
To create highly accurate tables and conform to severe requirements in medical field a precise measurement device is needed to measure the tiny differences in luminance and color output for each driving level.
Maintaining peak output quality for medical imaging displays, in accordance with DICOM calibration standard, is crucial for medical professionals.
"The high-quality measurement device from IBA Dosimetry offers several advantages for the user as it does not only allow spot measurement, but also ambient light measurement and performs extreme precise color measurement due to a high quality spectral module. This makes these devices the ideal solution for Display and Projector calibration and verification." says Marc Leppla, director of QUBYX.
"IBA Dosimetry has been working with QUBYX on developing solutions for medical display calibration," says Karl Lehi Schartz, General Manager Radiologistics of IBA Dosimetry "We value our relationship with QUBYX, and are happy that they have engineered functionality with our new Lxchroma and Lxcan spotmeters. QUBYX software works with nearly any graphic card, display and projector and allows us to reach our goal to make highest quality solutions that will help to enhance image displaying in the medical field."
