Lake Charles Medical & Surgical Clinic, Lake Charles, La., selected NovaRad's NovaRIS administrative solution for its practice. NovaRIS will support the clinic's main office and six satellite offices to help simplify scheduling, billing, and reporting.
Additional features in NovaRIS that factored into the clinic's decision to select NovaRIS included the system's: - Marquee alerts per user type for easy and fast alerts of in patient scheduling and clinic based alerts - Foot pedal transcription playback and speed control - Preliminary listening of reports by referring physicians off site and remotely - Improved billing module to include easier entry and combining of CPT, ICD-9 and standard procedures - Compressing of scanned key documents such as insurance cards, drivers licenses, prescriptions, etc. This contract brings NovaRad's installations in Louisiana hospitals, clinics and imaging centers to 18. The company has more than 400 installations of its RIS and PACS radiology systems worldwide.
