RadSciences Group Releases their 2009 Allied Health Compensation Review

Company News - RadSciences Group
RadSciences Group is releasing the 2009 Allied Health Compensation Review: Radiology, Rehabilitation and Laboratory
RadSciences Group is releasing the results of their most recent Allied Health Compensation Review that focuses on real-time wage changes and staffing trends that have affected radiology, rehabilitation and laboratory over the past year. The Compensation Review is a free resource that provides a summary of current data and market trends in radiology, rehab and laboratory.

2009 Allied Health Compensation Review - The year of 2008 proved to be a volatile year for jobs across the U.S., and healthcare was no different. While wages and incentives for some healthcare professionals remained steady, incentives for others decreased along with the number of jobs that were once available.

Demand for registered Sonographers had remained strong over the past year; however many radiology professionals such as Radiographers, Mammographers, Nuclear Medicine Technologists and other ARRT candidates have found it much more difficult to find employment. This is especially true if they are unable to relocate due to economic conditions. The market for Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists and Medical Technologists has remained strong with no signs of slowing down in the near future. Physical Therapists are experiencing the best employment conditions since the late 1990's with just a 0.2 percent unemployment rate.

RadSciences Group works with healthcare leaders to improve retention and talent selection by specializing in providing organizational development programs and recruitment services to hospitals throughout the country. More than just a professional search firm, RadSciences Group desires to be a resource and partner to healthcare leaders who believe that talent selection is more than just education and credentials, but also the science of understanding an individual's beliefs, motivators and values.
